Enrollment Policies, Payment Terms & Course Terms

The Learners Pathway (“TLP”) provides educational programs through both in-person instruction and online digital courses. By enrolling in any program, registering for a class, or purchasing a digital course, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following policies and terms.
By enrolling in any program, registering for a class, or purchasing access to any course or service offered by The Learners Pathway, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. Enrollment Agreement
Enrollment in any program offered by The Learners Pathway confirms that the parent, guardian, or student agrees to follow the program structure, policies, and expectations established by TLP.
Students are expected to:
• attend sessions regularly
• participate actively in learning activities
• complete assignments and projects as required
Consistent participation is essential for academic progress.
The Learners Pathway is not responsible for lack of progress resulting from:
• inconsistent attendance
• incomplete assignments
• lack of participation
• external academic commitments beyond the program
2. Payment Terms
Tuition and program fees must be paid according to the payment plan selected during enrollment.
For in-person programs, tuition is generally billed on a monthly basis.
The student’s official joining date becomes their monthly billing date.
Example:
If a student joins on February 2, the next payment will be due on March 2.
Parents or students authorize The Learners Pathway to process payments using the payment method provided in order to maintain uninterrupted access to classes.
If automatic billing is not enabled, payment reminders will be sent and payment must be completed manually on the due date.
Failure to complete payment may result in temporary suspension of program access until payment is received.
3. Cancellation Policy (In-Person Programs)
To discontinue enrollment in any in-person program, parents must provide 30 days’ written notice.
Cancellation requests may be submitted through the parent member account or by written communication to The Learners Pathway.
The 30-day notice period begins from the date written notice is received.
All payments due during the notice period remain payable and are non-refundable.
4. No-Refund Policy for In-Person Programs
All payments for in-person programs are non-refundable.
If a student withdraws voluntarily from the program for any reason, no refunds or partial refunds will be issued.
Missed sessions due to illness, travel, vacations, personal circumstances, or scheduling conflicts do not qualify for:
• refunds
• credits
• makeup classes
• fee adjustments
5. Program Schedule & Modifications
The Learners Pathway reserves the right to modify program schedules, instructors, or lesson formats when necessary.
Changes may occur due to circumstances including but not limited to:
• instructor availability
• facility or classroom issues
• weather conditions
• emergencies
• low enrollment
TLP will make reasonable efforts to provide alternate arrangements where possible.
6. Scheduled Breaks
Certain programs may include scheduled academic breaks during the year.
During these breaks, students may be assigned independent learning activities or project-based work that forms part of the curriculum.
Scheduled breaks cannot be extended or modified for individual families.
7. Program Duration
Many programs offered by The Learners Pathway follow a structured curriculum cycle.
Students who enroll later in the academic year will complete the program duration beginning from their personal start date.
Program access may automatically end upon completion of the program cycle.
8. Online Programs & Digital Course Access
The Learners Pathway offers various online educational programs and digital courses.
Purchase of an online course grants the student access to the course platform for a defined access period specified at the time of purchase.
Access to online programs is granted to one individual user only and may not be transferred, shared, or resold.
Students are responsible for ensuring access to:
• a reliable internet connection
• a compatible device capable of accessing course materials
9. Intellectual Property
All educational materials created by The Learners Pathway are protected intellectual property.
This includes but is not limited to:
• lesson materials
• videos and recordings
• worksheets and exercises
• teaching frameworks
• course structures
• written resources
• digital learning systems
All proprietary methods, frameworks, and teaching systems developed by The Learners Pathway — including the Universal Question Development Framework (UQDF) and other methodologies used in TLP programs — remain the exclusive intellectual property of The Learners Pathway.
Purchase or enrollment grants a limited, non-transferable license for personal educational use only.
The following actions are strictly prohibited:
• sharing login credentials
• copying or distributing course materials
• recording lessons or course content
• reproducing or reselling program materials
• redistributing frameworks or proprietary teaching systems
Violation of these terms may result in immediate termination of program access without refund.
10. Account Security & Access
Students are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account login credentials.
Accounts may not be shared with other individuals.
The Learners Pathway reserves the right to suspend or terminate access if account misuse or unauthorized sharing is detected.
11. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
By purchasing any program or course from The Learners Pathway, you agree to contact TLP directly to resolve any concerns before initiating a payment dispute.
Submitting a chargeback or payment dispute without prior communication may result in:
• immediate suspension of program access
• termination of course access
• restriction from future enrollment
TLP reserves the right to provide transaction records, login activity, and course access data to payment providers in response to disputes.
12. Results Disclaimer
The Learners Pathway provides structured educational tools designed to strengthen literacy, writing, communication, and leadership skills.
Individual academic outcomes depend on factors including:
• student effort
• practice and implementation
• attendance and engagement
The Learners Pathway does not guarantee specific academic grades, exam scores, admissions outcomes, or measurable results.
13. Technology Requirements
Students participating in online programs must ensure access to appropriate technology.
The Learners Pathway is not responsible for access limitations resulting from personal device issues, internet connectivity problems, or software incompatibility.
14. Media Consent
From time to time, The Learners Pathway may take photographs, video recordings, or audio recordings during classes, workshops, events, or program activities.
These materials may be used for educational, promotional, or marketing purposes including:
• social media
• website content
• educational presentations
• program showcases
By enrolling in any program, parents and students grant permission for The Learners Pathway to use such materials unless written notice is provided requesting exclusion.
TLP will always aim to present students respectfully and appropriately in all media.
15. Limitation of Liability
Participation in any educational program offered by The Learners Pathway is voluntary.
TLP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in programs or use of course materials.
Parents and students accept responsibility for their participation and engagement in the learning process.
16. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.
Any disputes arising from enrollment or program participation shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Alberta, Canada.
