Terms & Conditions

Your use of The Learners Pathway website, programs, and services (collectively, “TLP,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) constitutes your agreement to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions (“Terms”).
If you do not agree, please discontinue use of this website and our services immediately.
1. GENERAL USE
The Learners Pathway provides educational programs, courses, events, books, and digital resources designed to support children’s literacy, leadership, and communication development.
By accessing or using our website or enrolling your child in any TLP program, you acknowledge that you are the parent or legal guardian of the participant and have the authority to agree to these Terms on their behalf.
2. PROGRAM REGISTRATION & PAYMENT

Enrollment & Fees – By enrolling in any TLP program (in-person or online), you agree to pay the full program fee as listed on the registration form or checkout page. All fees are due in advance and are non-transferable.

Payment Methods – We accept credit/debit card payments, e-transfer, or other methods specified during registration.

Confirmation – Enrollment is confirmed once full payment is received and a confirmation email is issued.

Class Size & Placement – Program placement is subject to availability and age-appropriateness as determined by The Learners Pathway.
3. CANCELLATIONS, WITHDRAWALS & REFUNDS
The Learners Pathway maintains a no-refund policy for all programs, including the Book Reading Club, Phonics Program, Foundation Program, and Elementary Writing Program.
Voluntary Withdrawal
If you choose to withdraw your child from a program for any reason after registration, no refunds or credits will be issued for any portion of the fees paid.
Missed Sessions
If your child is unable to attend one or more sessions due to illness, scheduling conflicts, vacations, or any other reason, no refunds, make-up classes, or fee adjustments will be provided.
Program Modifications or Cancellations
TLP reserves the right to modify or cancel sessions due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to low enrollment, instructor unavailability, weather conditions, or emergencies.
In such cases, TLP will make reasonable efforts to reschedule sessions or provide an alternate arrangement.
4. MEDICAL CONSENT
By enrolling your child in any TLP program, you authorize The Learners Pathway to seek medical attention for your child in case of an emergency when you or your emergency contact cannot be reached.
You accept full responsibility for any associated medical costs arising from such action.
5. CODE OF CONDUCT
We maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
Parents and students agree to:

Show respect toward instructors, peers, and property.

Follow safety rules and class guidelines.

Participate with a growth mindset and positive attitude.
TLP reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior disrupts the learning environment, without refund.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All lesson materials, videos, digital content, visuals, and resources provided by The Learners Pathway are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or use these materials for commercial purposes without written consent.
Program materials are for enrolled families only.
7. MEDIA CONSENT
By enrolling, you grant The Learners Pathway permission to photograph or record your child during classes, events, or showcases for educational and promotional purposes, including but not limited to use on social media, website, or print materials.
If you wish to opt out, please notify info@thelearnerspathway.com in writing before the program begins.
8. PRIVACY & DATA
All personal information collected during registration is used solely for program administration, communication, and safety purposes.
We store all data securely and do not share personal information with third parties.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Participation in TLP programs, both in-person and online, is voluntary and at your own risk.
The Learners Pathway, its instructors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential damages resulting from participation, except where required by law.
Our liability, if any, shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific program in question.
10. THIRD-PARTY TOOLS & LINKS
Our programs may integrate third-party educational platforms such as Book Creator, Microsoft Reading Coach, TED-Ed Clubs, and others.
These tools are governed by their respective privacy and usage policies, and TLP is not responsible for the actions or data management of such third-party services.
11. MODIFICATIONS
The Learners Pathway may update these Terms at any time without prior notice.
All revisions take effect immediately upon posting to our website.
12. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Edmonton, Alberta.
