How Teaching Became My Life's Purpose

“When I was little, my mom noticed that every time I made a mistake, I would write her an apology letter. One day, she brought me a journal and told me to write everything I felt inside it. That’s how my love for writing began at age seven.

At ten, my father found me teaching a group of imaginary students. The next day, he brought a blackboard, handed me chalk, and said something that shaped my life: ‘To teach is to learn twice.’

Growing up, I read stories of leaders and revolutionaries like Shaheed Bhagat Singh, and I learned early that creating change brings me purpose. Teaching, writing, and helping others grow became my calling. That is the fire behind The Learners Pathway.”

As the founder and director, Manpreet wears many hats. She teaches and mentors students, designs research-based curriculum, coaches parents on building strong reading environments at home, and curates a carefully selected collection of books for the academy’s cozy in-house library. She leads the “Write and Publish Your Book” program, facilitates the TED-Ed Club by TED Talks, and is preparing to launch The Learners Pathway’s first student podcast series.

Beyond the classroom, Manpreet has published seven literacy books on Amazon, and her poetry book “Jar of Reflection” has been featured by Indigo Chapters. In January 2026, she is set to launch The Learners Pathway’s first global online program, expanding her mission to empower children worldwide with the same life-changing literacy journey.

Manpreet’s role is not merely operational—it is deeply purposeful. Every task she undertakes, every child she teaches, and every parent she supports is part of a larger mission: to help children not only read better, but believe in themselves, and grow into confident, curious, and compassionate learners who lead their own lives with strength and clarity.

Ms. M turns listening, language, and leadership into daily habits—blending structured literacy with identity-building rituals so kids speak with power, read with strategy, and act with responsibility.
