THE FOUNDER
Meet the teacher
behind The Learners Pathway.
Manpreet Kaur — a Leeds-educated scholar of
literature, a published author, and the teacher who has guided 350+ children over the past decade.

Every child is already someone. They’re just waiting for one adult who believes it — and who gives them the words to think for themselves. Give them both, and you don’t just raise a better student. You raise a fearless, thinking, compassionate human.
This is why I do this — and why I built The Learners Pathway.
HER STORY
How she came to teach the way she does.

THE SCHOLAR OF WRITING
I earned my Master’s in English Language and Literature at the University of Leeds, where I studied eighteenth- and nineteenth-century British literature and trained in creative writing under the poet Helen Mort. I didn’t just learn to each writing — I learned to love it as a craft, and to understand how it actually works.
Which means your child learns to write from someone who has studied writing at its highest level — not someone handing out worksheets.
The teacher
For over a decade, since 2014, I’ve taught more than 350 children — every kind of learner, every kind of family. I’ve watched what makes a child freeze over a blank page, and what makes them light up when the words finally come.
Which means whatever your child is like, I have almost certainly taught a child like them — and I’ll understand yours.

The author
I’m the author of seven literacy books for young learners and a collection of poetry. Writing isn’t just what I teach; it’s how I’ve spent my own life.
Which means a real, published author is guiding your child’s writing.
The founder
In 2017, I founded The Learners Pathway — the academy I wished existed. A place that doesn’t just prepare children for the next test, but teaches them to think, write, speak, and lead for life.
Which means your child joins something built on eight years of doing this the right way.

IN HER OWN VOICE
Before we ever meet — a word from me.
“I want you to know exactly who will be teaching your child — and why I’ll care about them the way you do.”
HOW I TEACH
I don’t hand a child the answer — I guide them to find it. I teach reading as thinking, writing as expression, and speaking as courage. And I pay attention to the whole child: not just how they perform, but how they feel, how they treat people, and who they’re becoming. Before a child can grow, they have to feel seen. That’s where I begin — every time.
